  • Veteran organises 2 day fundraiser

We are very pleased to announce that veteran Alex Lothian who attends Gardening Leave at Rosendael organised some fundraising events which where held over 2 days in Dundee in aid of three forces charities, Gardening Leave, Combat Stress and Horseback UK.

The first event was a Horseracing night held at Bar Leo hosted by bar manager Andrew Hendry followed by a comedy afternoon ”Scottish Comedy As It Used To Be” held at the Ferry Inn performed by Alex Dickson.  Everyone who attended had an amazing time which was proven by the fabulous amount raised for the three charities across both events.

Gardening Leave wishes to say a big thank you to veteran Alex Lothian for all his hard work in organising these events. Gardening Leave Chief Executive Bill Stafford said ” As Gardening Leave receives no statutory funding, whenever someone comes along and wants to organise an event and fundraise for us, we are extremely grateful”.

Thanks to everyone who attended these events and donated, much appreciated and best wishes.
