We are delighted that Major (Retd) Hugh McAulay (Stevie) The Royal Highland Fusiliers will be joining the staff at Gardening Leave in August when he retires from the Army after 41 years of service.

Hugh’s job will be Site Supervisor at the Stovehouse and he will be co-ordinating the many and diverse people who will all be involved with the repairs; veterans, volunteers, professional tradesmen and serving personnel – you can follow our progress in the Stovehouse section on this site.
