Gardening Leave is still a very young organisation. Because gardening is inherently ‘normal’ and non-threatening, it is a great way of bringing people together.
By talking about what we do at Gardening Leave and how it helps the veterans who join us, we can not only let other veterans know what we do but also reduce the stigma of mental health.
If you are interested in our work and would be prepared to tell at one least person a month about what Gardening Leave is and what we do, it will make a real difference.
Send us your contact details and we will send you our Friends of Gardening Leave bi-annual Newsletter which will keep you in touch with future developments, ongoing research and tell you about some of the veterans who come to Gardening Leave and how it is helping them. If you are happy for us to send you the Newsletter by e-mail, it will save us the postage!
I very much hope that you will choose to join us and if you have any questions about what we do, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
I look forward to meeting you,
Anna Baker Cresswell.
Founder and Chief Executive.
